First Hügel Family Day at Villa Hügel on August 31
On Sunday, August 31, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., the Alfried Krupp von Bohlen und Halbach Foundation invites visitors to the first Hügel Family Day at Villa Hügel. Guests can look forward to a diverse program featuring music, creative workshops, guided tours, and movement-based activities – especially designed for families with children.
Highlights of the day include performances by the Folkwang Ensemble and the rock band Pure Panic, as well as the child-friendly concert format “Frühstart mit Mozart” featuring the popular character “Hexe Kleinlaut”. Creative stations, nature explorer activities, juggling, and exclusive guided tours of normally closed-off rooms offer entertainment for all generations and unique insights into the history of the site.
A variety of food stalls on the premises will ensure a wide culinary selection – from savory to sweet.
