A modern art exhibition in a brightly lit gallery space. On the left wall is a large, colorful mural featuring stylized, anime-inspired characters in bold colors. In the room, two elaborately decorated, colorful sculptures stand on wooden stools, made from paper, beads, and small objects. The scene conveys a playful and culturally diverse atmosphere.

‘Catalogues for young artists’ award announced: Krupp Foundation supports young artists with up to EUR 40,000

The Alfried Krupp von Bohlen und Halbach Foundation is offering the exhibition and catalogue award “Kataloge für junge Künstler*innen” (“Catalogues for Young Artists”) for the 42nd time. Visual artists up to the age of 35 can be nominated for the programme by museums, exhibition halls and art associations. The foundation provides funding for three catalogues and the corresponding exhibitions with up to EUR 40,000.

The Krupp Foundation set up the “Catalogues for Young Artists” programme in 1982 to enable promising young artists to produce their first catalogue and, since 2001, to exhibit their works. At the same time, museums and exhibition venues are encouraged to develop innovative exhibition concepts to accompany the catalogues.

Closing date for applications (online): 15 September 2025
