The Historical Archive Krupp, founded in 1905, has an extensive film collection that is one of the most important German archives in the field of industrial film. As early as 1913, Fried. Krupp AG established a ‘cinematographic department’ that produced films for its own purposes and for other clients. After 1945, Krupp commissioned external producers. In addition, members of the Krupp family also filmed for private purposes. Today, the archive’s collection comprises over 650 titles on approximately 5,500 reels as well as digital formats.
