Krupp Foundation launches new €1.5 million program ImPulsRuhr for change in the Ruhr region: Applications open from September 15

To strengthen the Ruhr region, the Krupp Foundation is initiating a new program with €1.5 million in funding: ImPulsRuhr is aimed at non-profit institutions with the goal of driving change in the region. The first of two application phases begins on September 15: until December 5, non-profit institutions are invited to submit their project proposals.

The requirements: the project must not yet have started, and it must fall within one of the foundation’s five funding areas: science, education, arts and culture, health, or sports. Thematically, the projects should be dedicated to change. Innovative ideas, new approaches, future-oriented concepts, and impulses are sought.

Eligible applicants include non-profit institutions, associations, and public organizations such as schools, daycare centers, welfare associations, museums, or universities. Institutions that have not previously applied for funding from the Krupp Foundation are encouraged to submit an application. Joint projects involving two or more institutions may also be submitted. Funding requests may range from €1,000 to €20,000 per project. For cooperative projects, the maximum funding amount is €30,000.
