Ticket Sales Have Started: “Der Hügel ist Kino” Returns in September

Once again this year, the Upper Hall of Villa Hügel will be transformed into a unique venue for cinematic art. From September 20 to 28, the Krupp Foundation, in cooperation with the Lichtburg Essen, will host “Der Hügel ist Kino” for the third time.

The program combines cinematic classics with modern highlights – all set against the historical backdrop of Villa Hügel.

The following films will be shown at 7:30 p.m. in the Upper Hall of Villa Hügel:

Sat, Sept 20: Shining

Sun, Sept 21: Downton Abbey

Tue, Sept 23: Das Fenster zum Hof

Wed, Sept 24: Lola rennt

Fri, Sept 26: Pulp Fiction

Sat, Sept 27: Grand Budapest Hotel

Sun, Sept 28: E.T.

 

A special screening for young film fans is planned for Friday, September 27. Further details will be announced soon.

Tickets are now available online and at the Lichtburg Essen box office. Admission is €10.
