Dr Michaela Muylkens has been elected to the Advisory Board of the Association of German Foundations
Dr Michaela Muylkens, Member of the Executive Board of the Alfried Krupp von Bohlen und Hallbach Foundation, was elected to the Association’s Advisory Board on 21 May 2026 during the General Assembly of the Association of German Foundations.
The Association of German Foundations represents the interests of the German foundation sector in relation to politics, administration and the public, and is committed to ensuring favourable conditions for charitable activities.
Michaela Muylkens has been a Member of the Executive Board of the Krupp Foundation since July 2023, where she is primarily responsible for the foundation’s funding programme and the Krupp Historical Archive. Alongside her professional career, she is involved in various committees within the foundation and academic sectors, including the North Rhine-Westphalia State Board of Trustees of the Stifterverband.
Commenting on her election, Michaela Muylkens said: “It is important to me to shape the conditions for the work of foundations in Germany from a position of responsibility. Recognising the diversity of foundations and being able to support their development is a priority for me. I am looking forward to contributing my experience from various professional roles to the dialogue between the foundation sector and other sectors.”
