The Hügel Family Day on 30 August offers a varied programme for young and old
The Krupp Foundation is organising the Hügel Family Day on 30 August at the Villa Hügel and in the Hügel-Park. Visitors of all ages can look forward to a varied programme of music, creative activities, guided tours and activity stations in and around Villa Hügel. The programme, tailored to families with children, runs from 10 am to 4 pm. Admission is free for children and young people up to the age of 18; adults pay €8. Tickets can be booked exclusively online from 6 pm on 27 July.
Highlights of the day include performances by the Folkwang Ensemble, the magician Daniel, and the child-friendly musical programme by Ingrid Hausl and ‘Terz & Tentakel’. Creative stations, nature exploration activities, juggling and guided tours of rooms in the villa that are usually closed to the public provide entertainment for visitors of all ages and offer insights into the history of the site.
The culinary needs of visitors will also be catered for: various food stalls will offer a varied selection ranging from savoury to sweet dishes.
Online ticket booking from 6 pm on 27 July is recommended, as capacity on the site is limited. Admission is only guaranteed with a valid ticket.
Due to high demand, advance registration for the guided tours is required exclusively via the Villa Hügel website from 6 pm on 27 July.
